Why Cant I Use Surround Sound With Hdmi?
Okay so my second question is here, after I’m having trouble using surround sound with the xbox component cables.
So i hook my xbox up with a HDMI lead, and decide to plug my surround sound into the TV (black and red lead). I try every socket that’s red and black, and there’s no sound at all on my xbox.
Any ideas what could be the matter?

When I connect my PS3 with an HDMI cable and HDMI to my TV, I get an image of snow. But when you use the cable components, no problem.
