My home theatre system works for anything, even a tiny radio. All you need to do is set your audio outputs to speakers or a subwoofer booster.
I use a subwoofer amplifier and have 3 sets of speakers attacted to it. I got switchboxes that allow me to attach many devices to it and then I can swutch between TV, DVD, Computer, etc..for the audio output to go through the speakers. Get switchbox from Dick Smith Electronics. Get their DSE brand name, about $30 australian. The best one, doesn’t need power cord.
