AVS is one of the better sites for info, but they are abusive to newbies and some threads erupt into flame wars.
Below is a smaller but more polite site.http://www.hometheaterforum.com

Your pioneer Elite should have a zone hook up for hooking it up (speakers on another room), To hook up the system to the whole house is a big job and have not seen any website to go to. Wiring the whole house requires a multi amplifier depending on room how many channel amp you'll need. Each room is a 2 channel amp multiply by the rooms, minimum of 2 speakers per room. Wiring can be hidden.
Controlling different sound like radio in one room, cd playing on another and watching a dvd on the main system is not sccomplishable with the receiver you have. You can listen or send sound to each room with the same source on the main system. Cost of doing this type of work can send your budget to the ceiling. This is done mostly by professional installer that you won't find at best buy and they deal is high end audio and video products and normally $10,000 and up.

Try avsforumhttp://www.avsforum.com/
See if the receiver supports dual speaker (A and B) outputs. Then connect one set in the main room and the second set in the speakers around the house.
