		<description>maplins will have the connector you need for just a couple of pound.they will be colour coded and the jack plug will just go into the audio output of your laptop(usually green on desktop) i use the same at home..good luck//</description>

		<description>There is no reason why you should not be able to connect your speakers to your laptop.  First you need to determine what the audio output source is on your laptop and then head down to the audio store to get the fittings that you need.  I&#039;m surprised that you didn&#039;t get the connector with the speakers as I bought a small logitec 5.1 and the jackplug extention came with the speakers.
 Anyway,I suspect that you will find that the output is probably a earphone jackplug but since the sound is digital that won&#039;t make a difference.  Maybe if you go to the Sony shop and explain your problem they will have the fitting that you need as &quot;Spares&quot; it is worth a try. Best of luck.</description>
